Manufacturer Academy
Scale 1/48
Medium injection-molded styrene
Product number 12216
Release date

Academy's 1/48 Bf 109E represents an early model — the Bf 109E-3. It includes decals printed by Cartograf to represent a single aircraft — "White 13" of 1/JG51 flown by Heinz Bär in September 1940.

The kit is molded in pale gray styrene, and the decal sheet includes the camouflage patterns for the upper surfaces, presumably for younger or inexperienced modelers who do not want to paint the model.
